Radishes are a small beet-like root veggie with a sweet punch at first bite and a spicy kick after a few chews. They grow sweeter in the cool seasons and spicier in the hot months.

Here are a couple tips to keep your radishes fresh for longer. It's recommended to at least remove the leaves to prevent drying, and you can also submerge the radishes in a bowl or jar of water kept in the fridge to keep them well hydrated (a jar or container with a cover less likely to spill of course).
