String beans are a peculiarly PEI obsession, with good reason -- they're amazing! Crispy and sweet, like the carrot's little cousin, but two months sooner. String beans are excellent for a crunchy raw snack on the go, at work or school, and are also very versatile in the kitchen, a great addition to stir fry or in a steamed veggie mix with carrots, broccoli, peas, parsnip, or any of your other favourites!
